In Odessa, Texas, more than 165,000 people were without water after a 24” cast iron water main break forced the entire city to shut down its system back in June 2022. The loss of water not only disrupted many residents in this West Texas town, it also disrupted local businesses, public offices, restaurants, retail, and the University. The Odessa Medical Center Hospital had to cancel several scheduled surgeries and procedures as a result of this emergency.
