Attack on Titan musical sets Singapore debut for April 2027
The Japanese-language production will have English surtitles, with tickets starting at S$58 before booking fees.

ATTACK on TITAN: The Musical is scheduled to open in Singapore on 15 April 2027, with performances continuing until 2 May 2027 at Marina Bay Sands’ Sands Theatre. Base Entertainment Asia is presenting the season, which marks the original Japanese production’s first engagement elsewhere in Asia.
Adapted from Hajime Isayama’s manga, the musical centres on Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackermann and Armin Arlert after Titans break through the Walls surrounding their home. It takes the narrative from its opening chapters to the Battle of Trost, condensing and rearranging some material for the stage.
The score combines original songs with ‘Guren no Yumiya’, the theme that opens the anime’s first season. Go Ueki directs the production, while Masafumi Hata wrote the book. KEN THE 390 oversees the music, and Kaori Miura wrote the lyrics.
The staging uses live singing, dance, action and visual technology, drawing on Japan’s “2.5-dimensional” musical tradition of adapting manga and anime for live performance. Its premiere took place in Osaka and Tokyo in January 2023; an international debut followed in October 2024 at New York City Center.
Performances will be in Japanese, accompanied by English surtitles, and last approximately 120 minutes. Tickets cost from S$58 before booking fees, with dynamic pricing. General sales begin on 14 October at 10am through SISTIC, Klook and Marina Bay Sands.
