Epy Quizon and Ethel Booba join ‘Last One Laughing Philippines’ season 2
Vice Ganda returns as host of the reality comedy competition, which premieres on Prime Video on October 30.
Prime Video will premiere the second season of “LOL: Last One Laughing Philippines” on October 30, with Vice Ganda returning to host a new group of 10 contestants. Randolph Longjas, the programme’s original showrunner, is also returning.
Epy Quizon and Ethel Booba are among the participants. Joining them are Chariz Solomon, Candy Pangilinan, Donna Cariaga, Esnyr, James Caraan, Pooh, Long Mejia and Charuth.
The competition puts the contestants together in one house for six hours. Each must try to provoke laughter from the others while avoiding laughter or even a smile themselves.
Stand-up comedian Chad Kinis won the inaugural season, taking home a ₱1 million cash prize. His opponents included Rufa Mae Quinto, Empoy Marquez, Jayson Gainza, Pepe Herrera, Victor Anastacio, Negi and Tuesday Vargas, as well as Jerald Napoles and Kim Molina, who are a couple in real life.
