AEG Presents Asia has issued haze precautions for fans attending BigBang’s reunion tour performances at Singapore’s National Stadium, scheduled for Oct 17 and Oct 18. The organiser said in an Oct 15 Instagram advisory that the venue’s haze management measures were in place.

The Kallang, the stadium’s operator, says a 24-hour Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) reading above 300 will trigger the suspension of all activities, both indoors and outdoors. Singapore’s 24-hour readings on Oct 15 were hovering in the unhealthy band of 101-200 and the very unhealthy band of 201-300 as hazy conditions persisted.

The organiser asked attendees to consult air-quality updates before travelling and arrange their journeys to limit time outdoors. It also advised those sensitive to haze to consider masks, avoid extended outdoor activity where possible and carry any personal medication they need.

Fans were advised to stay hydrated and bring water bottles that could be refilled at the venue; glass and steel bottles are excluded. Anyone feeling unwell should seek medical care when necessary, the organiser said. The National Environment Agency said on Oct 14 that the Government had begun distributing masks because of the worsening haze.
