Janine Berdin makes solo concert debut in Quezon City
The programme paired songs from her 2026 album with guest performances by Adie, Kitchie Nadal, Yeng Constantino and Jay Contreras.

Janine Berdin marked her first concert as a solo headliner at Quezon City’s New Frontier Theater, presenting original material alongside songs linked to her beginnings as a performer.
Adie joined Berdin on Mahika, while her duet with Kitchie Nadal featured Huwag Na Huwag Mong Sasabihin. Yeng Constantino appeared for Cool Off, and Jay Contreras, the vocalist of Kamikazee, sang Narda with her. Berdin credited Adie with believing in her music when she was posting songs online.
Berdin opened with two tracks, Antoxic and Miskom, taken from the album “lab songs ng mga tanga”, released in 2026. The set also featured SITWASYONSHIP, an early independent release, and Mirisi, which uses Filipino, English and Bisaya.
Her selections included Evanescence’s My Immortal; she cited the band as an influence on her pop-rock sound. She returned to Banal Na Aso, Santong Kabayo, a song associated with her performances on Tawag ng Tanghalan, the competition she won.
Looking back on eight years in music, Berdin acknowledged ABS-CBN, Tawag ng Tanghalan and her new label for their support. Friendship Over and Ayos Lang were her closing numbers, after which she told the audience she wanted to create more music and keep sharing her stories.
