Lisa documentary Always Lalisa set for cinema release on 12 October
Directed by Sue Kim, the film follows the BLACKPINK member’s solo career and life away from public attention, with YouTube Premium streaming to follow.

Always Lalisa, a documentary about BLACKPINK member Lisa, is scheduled to reach international cinemas and IMAX screens from 12 October 2026, Antara reported. The film runs for 1 hour 40 minutes and will later stream exclusively on YouTube Premium.
Director Sue Kim follows Lisa’s work as a singer and international public figure, including her efforts to establish a solo identity beyond BLACKPINK. The documentary also explores her life away from performances and public attention. Kim said it includes aspects of Lisa’s life and career that audiences have not previously seen.
The musical projects covered in that journey include her 2021 EP Lalisa and the album Alter Ego, released in 2025, according to Rolling Stone. Lisa also performed as a solo artist at Coachella 2025.
Citing Deadline, Antara reported that the documentary examines a period when Lisa gained more scope to pursue acting and develop her personal brand. She made her acting debut in HBO’s The White Lotus before taking on Netflix projects, including the action film Tygo, in which she serves as both an actor and executive producer.
