Nene Royal performs two songs with Avenged Sevenfold in Singapore
The 16-year-old America’s Got Talent winner also opened the Singapore Indoor Stadium concert with covers spanning rock and metal.

Avenged Sevenfold’s Singapore concert featured a guest appearance by Nene Royal, who joined the American band after performing as its opening act. The 16-year-old sang and played guitar on ‘Bat Country’ at Singapore Indoor Stadium on 13 October, then remained onstage for ‘Unholy Confessions’.
Royal’s earlier set featured rock and metal covers. She performed Muse’s ‘Hysteria’ and Soundgarden’s ‘Black Hole Sun’, alongside ‘Killing In The Name’ by Rage Against The Machine. Her selections also included System Of A Down’s ‘I-E-A-I-A-I-O’ and The Cranberries’ ‘Zombie’.
The opening slot had been announced in late September, following Royal’s victory in season 21 of America’s Got Talent. The Singapore performance added to her collaborations with other bands: during the competition’s finale, she had also performed with Linkin Park and The Warning.
