Gloc-9 releases first vinyl collection to mark 29 years in music
Universal Records produced the limited-edition collection, which includes collaborations with Ebe Dancel, Rico Blanco and Jeazell Grutas.

Filipino rapper Gloc-9 has released his debut vinyl record, “Mga Ani ni Gloc-9,” to commemorate 29 years in the music industry. Its 11 songs span different periods of his career and were originally released through various record labels.
Produced by Universal Records as a limited edition, the collection includes “Sirena,” featuring Ebe Dancel; “Magda,” featuring Rico Blanco; and “Upuan,” featuring Jeazell Grutas. These collaborations bring together Gloc-9 and fellow Filipino artists on one physical release.
Social issues, individual struggles and ordinary Filipinos’ experiences are recurring subjects in the rapper’s songwriting. The selection draws on a career shaped by those themes, gathering tracks from across his nearly three decades of recording rather than from a single period.
