Kudrat 1968 reaches RM3 million in advance ticket sales
The Malaysian film opens on October 29, with tickets for its October 31 fan screenings selling out within five minutes.

Advance ticket sales for Kudrat 1968: High Council have reached RM3 million, producer Astro Shaw said on its official social media accounts. The film is due in cinemas across Malaysia on October 29.
The announcement followed rapid sales for two special events. Tickets to the October 26 Malam Manifesto Kudrat 1968 gala premiere reportedly took less than an hour to sell out. The allocation for fan screenings scheduled for October 31 was exhausted within five minutes.
The film concludes a story also told through a four-episode series available on Astro and Netflix. Kudrat 1968 is a prequel to Project: High Council, which began in 2023, and extends the franchise after Kahar: Kapla High Council.
The plot centres on Abbas returning to Kudrat and finding the school locked down by authorities after the discovery of a concealed student death. Zarif Ghazzi plays Abbas, alongside Mierul Aiman as Kuda and Akmal Asyraf as Piji. The cast also features Dai Fuad as Pa, Evertts Gomes as Ghafar and Chech Harith as Mazli.
