Shiela Valderrama will take on Queen Femina Suarestellar Baroux when “Zsazsa Zaturnnah Ze Parteeeh!” returns in April 2027 for its 20th anniversary production. Her character rules Planet XXX and leads the Amazonistas.

Vincent A. DeJesus, the musical’s composer, lyricist and musical director, said the part demands comic timing, vocal strength and a strong physical presence. He said Valderrama’s experience in musical theatre equipped her for a role that requires more than an extravagant stage persona.

Valderrama’s stage credits include playing Diana Goodman in “Next to Normal”, Fosca in Stephen Sondheim’s “Passion” and Erzulie in “Once on This Island”. Her work in “Next to Normal” won her the 2025 Aliw Award for Best Lead Actress in a Musical. Her career spans 35 years across theatre, concerts, television, film and live events.

She follows several performers in the Queen Femina role. Agot Isidro and Kalila Aguilos shared it in 2006, with Meliza Reyes-Uy taking it on in 2009 and Pinky Amador in 2011. Kakki Teodoro portrayed the character in the 2023 student staging, “Zsazsa Zaturnnah the Musical... 'Yun Lang!”

Valderrama’s international experience includes Hong Kong Disneyland’s opening team and Broadway Asia’s Asian tour of “Cinderella”, where she was an alternate for the title role. More information about the anniversary staging is expected to be announced.
