Highlight to headline Singapore’s Kallang Countdown 2027
The Dec 31 concert at Stadium Roar will feature international, regional and local performers, with ticketing details still to come.
K-pop quartet Highlight will top the bill at The Kallang Countdown 2027 in Singapore on Dec 31. The New Year’s Eve concert at Stadium Roar will also feature acts from Singapore, the region and further afield.
The Kallang Kaki loyalty programme’s members will receive priority ticket access, although full ticketing information has not yet been announced. The concert forms part of ONE Countdown 2027, which includes celebrations across Singapore and in its heartlands. Further details are due later in November.
Highlight’s members are Yoon Du-jun, Yang Yo-seop, Lee Gi-kwang and Son Dong-woon. In a statement, the band said it looked forward to returning to Singapore and celebrating the arrival of 2027 with fans.
Its previous Singapore performance was at Singapore Expo in 2024, the final stop of its Lights Go On, Again Asia tour marking its 15th anniversary. That concert included songs from its years as Beast as well as later Highlight releases.
The group debuted in 2009 as Beast with six members, adopted the Highlight name in 2017 as a five-member act, and became a quartet in 2019. Its recent records include Switch On, a 2024 EP, and its sixth EP, From Real To Surreal, released in 2025.
