DOLLA makes European debut at Paris music festival
The trio became the first Malaysian girl group to perform in Paris, drawing around 2,000 fans for a 12-song set.

Malaysian pop group DOLLA performed in Europe for the first time on Oct 24, appearing at The A Music Festival at the Paris Event Centre. Around 2,000 fans attended, including people who travelled from elsewhere in France, the UK, Germany and Italy.
The trio’s 12-song programme included their latest single, “UGLY”, as well as “Impikan”, “Bad” and “Bad Girls Like You” featuring Tobii. DOLLA was the sole Malaysian act at the two-day festival, which featured performers from Southeast Asia and Korea.
Angel described the European debut as a meaningful opportunity and recalled audience members raising illuminated phones during one song. Sabronzo said the reception was warmer and more supportive than she had expected, while Tabby credited the preparation by both the members and their crew.
DOLLA’s opening-day appearance was on a bill that also included Thailand’s JASP.ER, 4EVE and Tobii, Korean artistes TRENDZ and Jacob, and Philippine group ALAMAT.
During the visit, DOLLA recorded videos with local dance crews, including choreography filmed against the Eiffel Tower backdrop. The group also met iDOLLA France fans at Trocadéro, receiving a handmade book of personal messages, and visited Malaysian Embassy representatives in Paris to discuss possible cultural collaborations.
