George Michael’s restored Faith Tour film reaches Singapore on 20 November
The Shaw Theatres screenings will also include Finding Faith, a short documentary directed by Mary McCartney.

Shaw Theatres will be the exclusive Singapore cinema venue for George Michael: The Faith Tour from 20 November. The restored film presents previously unseen performances recorded during the singer’s 1988 tour.
George Michael Entertainment announced the film in partnership with Mercury Studios, with its international cinema release starting on 6 November. Directors Andy Morahan and David Austin draw on footage recorded in Paris, where 14 cameras captured two nights of concerts on 35mm film at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy. Michael was 24 at the time.
The accompanying documentary, Finding Faith, uses an interview with Michael that had not previously been heard. Mary McCartney’s short film also brings together Herb Ritts photographs and footage documenting the production of the Faith music video.
A live album also titled The Faith Tour arrived on 6 November through George Michael Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment. The 18-track collection contains previously unreleased concert recordings, drawing from both Michael’s Wham! repertoire and his solo work.
The concert film centres on the period surrounding Faith, his solo album whose worldwide sales exceeded 25 million copies. The record won the Album of the Year GRAMMY and yielded four US Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles: Faith, Father Figure, One More Try and Monkey.
